《Cruise》的故事发生在上世纪八十年代，讲述一个游手好闲的意大利裔美国青年，每天虚度光阴，直到有天遇到一个美丽的犹太女孩，他的生活自此发生了改变。
影片剧本交由《摔跤王》编剧罗伯特·D·西格尔操刀，同时他还将亲自执导本片。这也是西格尔自2009年的《狂热粉丝》后导演的第二部作品。影片预计今年秋季在纽约开拍。
