　　Lifetime宣布将1988年的经典电影《莫负当年情》（Beaches）改编成一部电视电影，Idina Menzel在片中扮演主人公CC（原版电影中由Bette Midler扮演）。此外，Idina Menzel还将为该片演唱其他原创歌曲。

　　故事描述年轻女孩CC和Hillary在威尼斯海滩步道偶然相遇，尽管她们的生活方式迥然不同，但她们出人意料地成了终身朋友。CC是个很有天赋的歌手，正准备在洛杉矶大展宏图。她的星途一直不顺利，直到一个大导演发现了她的才华，给了她人生第一个机会。Hillary（原版电影中由Barbara Hershey扮演）是一位杰出的民权律师的女儿，她至今没有找到自己的人生定位。她们的友谊虽然经历了起伏跌宕，但维持了数十年之久。

　　该片由Allison Anders导演，剧本由Bart Baker和Nikole Beckwith创作。Lifetime筹备这个项目已经一年多时间了，这是他们今年最重要的项目之一。
